Proclamation Recognizing the Centennial High School Volleyball Team Championship 
Purpose:

To recognize the 2016-2017 Centennial High School Volleyball Team for their outstanding dedication and effort to become the District, Region, and State Volleyball Champions.

Background/Summary:

High school sports teaches players about the value of commitment, hard work and sportsmanship - lessons that will benefit them throughout their entire lives.

 

Coach Cari Bauer has been an exemplary leader for the Centennial volleyball team for 21 years, however, this was her first year as head Varsity coach. Under her leadership and direction, the Coyotes finished with an undefeated record, going 21-0, becoming the 2016-2017 State Champions.

 

Given these accomplishments, the City of Peoria is proud to proclaim February 7th, 2017 as: “Peoria Centennial Coyotes Volleyball State Champion Day”.
