| Amend Council Policy 1-2: City Council Meeting Procedures |

For the Council to consider adoption of an amended Council Policy 1-2 (CP 1-2), City Council Meeting Procedures. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Summary:
The City develops Council Policies to provide consistent guidelines and standards for addressing specific activities. City staff recently reviewed this policy in detail. In doing so, it was found that some language changes were needed to update the policy. Highlights of the amended changes include:
- Updates language to coincide with the City Charter amendments that were recently approved by the voters.
- Updates the process for Councilmembers to place an item on the agenda.
- Updates the process for City Departments to place an item on Council Executive Session.
- Removes language regarding redacted packets.
- Removes language regarding delivery of packets to Councilmembers.
- Updates language for Council meeting notices to be posted on the City website.
- Provides guidelines for reports by City Council Members that include City-produced advertisement or video media.
- Updates conflict of interest procedures.
