To recognize the Youth Council Liaisons Kaitlyn Edwards and Samuel Owen. |
| | | | | | | | Background/Summary:
Kaitlyn Edwards and Samuel Owen were sworn in as Youth Council Liaisons on August 16, 2016. Ms. Edwards and Mr. Owen have done an exceptional job during the past nine months representing the youth of our City. They have actively participated in City Council meetings and have attended events. Their leadership, insight and ideas and has been very valuable to the City Council.
Ms. Edwards is a member of the Peoria Youth Advisory Board and a junior at Liberty High School. Mr. Owen is the Chairman of the Peoria Youth Advisory Board and a senior at Ironwood High School. |
