Discussion and possible action to: (a) adopt RES. 2018-51 authorizing the City Manager to execute an Ingress/Egress Easement, Public Utility Easement and Waterline Easement; and (b) adopt RES. 2018-52 authorizing the City Manager to execute a Real Property License allowing the installation of a freestanding monument sign. |

Staff has been working with the developer of the property at the southeast corner of 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road throughout their design process. To maximize the development potential of the site, the City has agreed to allow access, placement of utilities and signage within City right of way adjacent to their 83rd Avenue frontage.
City Council approval of the Final Plat of 83 Marketplace is being presented concurrently with this Council request. |

7/5/16 – Council approved the rezoning of the 83 Marketplace land. |

A: City Council authorizes the execution and recordation of the easements and real property license for the benefit of the 83 Marketplace development.
B: City Council chooses not to authorize the easements and real property license resulting in impacts to the proposed development.

Staff recommends that City Council approve the adoption of the attached Resolutions authorizing the execution of the easements and real property license for the benefit of the 83 Marketplace development. |
