5C.Code Amendment, Renumber Chapter 7 to Chapter 10, Civil Emergencies, Emergency Services; and amending various sections of the Peoria City Code.
Discussion and possible action to adopt ORD. 2017-09 amending Chapter 7 of the Peoria City Code pertaining to Civil Emergencies, Emergency Services by renumbering it as Chapter 10 and amending various sections.  
6C.Code Amendment, Renumber Chapter 16 to Chapter 8, Municipal Special Events; and amending various sections of the Peoria City Code
Discussion and possible action to adopt ORD. 2017-10 amending Chapter 16 of the Peoria City Code pertaining to Municipal Special Events by renumbering it as Chapter 8 and amending various sections.  
7C.Code Amendment, Renumber Chapter 19 to Chapter 6 Personnel, and amending various sections of the Peoria City Code

Discussion and possible action to adopt ORD. 2017-11 amending Chapter 19 of the Peoria City Code pertaining to Personnel by renumbering it as Chapter 6 and amending various sections of the Peoria City Code.

8C.Intergovernmental Agreement Amendments, Arizona Department of Transportation, 75th Avenue and Cactus Road Intersection Improvements and 75th Avenue and Peoria Avenue Intersection Improvements
Discussion and possible action to: (a) adopt RES. 2017-32 approving Amendment No. Two to the Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for the intersection improvements of 75th Avenue and Cactus Road; and (b) adopt RES. 2017-33 approving Amendment No. Two to Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for the intersection improvements of 75th Avenue and Peoria Avenue, to increase the federal funding for both projects and to include the construction of a new City waterline for each intersection.
9C.Revision to Amendment No. 1, Intergovernmental Agreement, Maricopa County Flood Control District, City of Surprise, City of Peoria, and Maricopa County, 115th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Drainage Improvement Project
Discussion and possible action to approve the revision to Amendment No. 1 between the District, Surprise, Peoria and County for the rights-of-way acquisition, utility relocations, construction, construction management, and operation and maintenance of the project.
10C.Budget Amendment, Parks and Recreation Facilities
Discussion and possible action to (a) approve a budget amendment in the amount of $362,344 from the General Fund Reserve Account to various General Fund and Sports Complex Fund Accounts; and (b) transfer funds in the amount of $50,000 from Parks North Salaries and Wages Regular Account and $50,000 from Parks South Salaries and Wages Regular Account to Parks North Other Professional Services Account and Parks South Other Professional Services Account.

 

11C.Maintenance Improvement District No. 1199, Happy Valley 40, Happy Valley Road and 87th Avenue

Discussion and possible action to approve the Petition for Formation and adopt RES. 2017-29 intention and ordering the formation of proposed Maintenance Improvement District No. 1199, Happy Valley 40, located at Happy Valley Road and 87th Avenue; and adopt RES. 2017-30 ordering the improvements within the proposed Maintenance Improvement District and declaring an emergency.

12C.Abandonment of City Interest, Federal Patent Easement, 70th Avenue and Mariposa Grande Lane
Discussion and possible action to adopt RES. 2017-34 declaring an emergency to abandon City interest in a portion of a Federal Patent Easement as recorded in Maricopa County Recorder Docket Number 2635 Page 74.
13C.Deeds and Easements, Various Locations

Discussion and possible action to adopt RES. 2017-35 accepting Deeds and Easements for various Real Property interests acquired by the City.

14C.PUBLIC HEARING - Liquor License, Corner Mart, 7473 West Thunderbird Road

Discussion and possible action to recommend approval to the State Liquor Board for a New Wine and Beer (Series 10) Liquor License for Corner Mart, located at 7473 West Thunderbird Road, Bashar Segman, Applicant, LL#20017213.

15R.Sunrise Mountain Purchase Agreement

Discussion and possible action to: (a) authorize the purchase of the remaining 123.46 acres with Sunrise Mountain Development Partners, LLC; (b) direct the City Manager to execute the Purchase Agreement; and (c) approve a budget adjustment from the General Fund Contingency Account to the Sonoran Preservation Project General Obligation Bonds Land Account in the amount of $1,400,000 and to the Capital Projects Fund Land Account in the amount of $2,120,000.
