Currently, the minimum State Fire Code is the 2018 edition of the International Fire Code, which is currently the adopted Fire Code by the City of Peoria.
Every three (3) years the International Code Council reviews and amends the model codes. These include the codes used by both the Fire-Medical Department and Building Development. The codes have been amended to correspond with the needs of the City of Peoria as well as other departments such as Building Development which also uses portions of the International Fire Code as reference. |
