Discussion and possible action to approve the recommendations from the Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee and adopt RES. 2023-50 appoint/reappoint members to various Boards and Commissions.

The Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee makes recommendations for board and commission membership based on term expirations, vacancies from resignations, or changes to member eligibility status.

On April 11, 2023, the Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee made the following appointment/reappointment recommendations:

This is a request for City Council to appoint/reappoint various Board and Commission members as follows:

• Reappoint Brandi Molstad as a regular member and appoint Paul Palz as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment for terms to expire December 31, 2024, and

• Appoint Edward Molina as a regular member to the Historic Preservation Commission with a term to expire December 31, 2024, and

• Reappoint Akshathram Vemana, Ana Shrivastava, Kimber Powell, Mikah Dyer, and Riya Ravindran as regular members to the Youth Advisory Board with terms to expire June 30, 2025, appoint Aditya Sehgal, Allie Black, and Liam Lowry as regular members with terms to expire June 30, 2024, appoint Samuel Stanca as an alternate member with a term to expire June 30, 2024, and appoint Aneesa Patel, Felicia Holly, Jacob Houg, Karin DeStefano, Olivia Solano, and Sarah Adamsha as regular members with terms to expire June 30, 2025.
