| Peoria Young Artists Program |
|
| | | | | | | | Summary:
Peoria believes that a city is not complete without a strong sense of the arts. Public art displays, performances, and our access to them is one of the many attributes that gives us our outstanding quality of life in Peoria and draws people to our great city. In addition, it is a characteristic that we are able to boast to business leaders who are looking for a new community to open or expand their company.
The purpose of this program is to engage Peoria students interested in the arts and incorporate this art into Peoria City Hall. The entries were collected by Peoria Unified School District teachers, who selected their top entries for submittal to the City of Peoria. We will be recognizing these students tonight for their outstanding submissions. |
| | | | | | | | Staff Recommendation:
To recognize and acknowledge the students whose artwork was selected for the Peoria Young Artists Program and to display in the Peoria City Hall Pine Room from April 6, 2023 - May 2, 2023. |
