Discussion and possible action to approve a Memorandum of Agreement with the Arizona Department of Health Services authorizing the fire department to continue participation in the CHEMPACK program. |
| | | | | | | | Summary:
The City of Peoria Fire-Medical Department and the Office of Emergency Management have historically worked with regional partners to improve the delivery of service to the citizens. A key to this endeavor is supporting a regional response approach to chemical terrorism incidents potentially resulting in a large loss of life, significant injuries, economic hardship, and other threats to public health and safety.
This Memorandum of Agreement provides a scope of work, specific deliverables, and requirements for both parties. |

The City has supported and maintained this Memorandum of Agreement since 2004. The last agreement was approved by council in 2013. |
