Discussion and possible action to approve a contract amendment with Axon Enterprise, Incorporated for law enforcement safety equipment, software and licensing for new Fiscal Year 2024 full-time employees in accordance with budget previously approved by Council. |

This request is to amend the current 10-year contract with Axon Enterprise, Inc. to provide mandatory safety equipment, software and licensing for new law enforcement personnel. Axon Enterprise, Inc. provides body cameras, TASER’s and related technology for law enforcement personnel. This equipment and technology currently is used by field personnel. This request expands current services to new positions budgeted in the current fiscal year. |
