The Mayor and Council of the City of Peoria is recognizing the outstanding dedication and effort of Liberty High School in becoming state champions in the following athletic divisions:
- Golf Team – student Adam Croix Arizona Division I State Golf Champion
- Diving Team – student Ezekiel Raybourn AIA Division I State 1-Meter Diving Champion
- Cross Country Team – student Ryan Denhoff AIA Division I State Cross Country Champion
- Liberty Lion Football Team - Arizona Open Division State Champions
