Discussion and possible action to approve the recommendations from the Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee and adopt RES. 2024-07 to appoint/reappoint members to various Boards and Commissions.

The Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee makes recommendations for board and commission membership based on term expirations, vacancies from resignations, or changes to member eligibility status.

On January 30, 2024, the Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee made the following appointment/reappointment recommendations:

This is a request for City Council to reappoint various Board and Commission members as follows:

• Appoint Shawn Hulsizer and Christopher Vigil as regular members to the Arts Commission with terms to expire December 31, 2025, and

• Reappoint Malina Blaise as a regular member to the Board of Adjustment with a term to expire December 31, 2025, and
• Appoint Debi Roy as a regular member to the Employee Benefits Trust Board with a term to expire December 31, 2025, and
  
• Reappoint Terry Neil as a regular member to the Economic Development Advisory Board with a term to expire December 31, 2025, and
• Reappoint John De La O and Mike Fusco as regular members to the Historic Preservation Commission with terms to expire December 31, 2025, and
• Reappoint Jane Cicinelli as a regular memeber to the Personnel Board with a term to expire December 31, 2025, and
• Appoint Joe Clure and reappoint Joshua Champion as regular members to the Public Safety Retirement Boards - Fire/Medical and Police with terms to expire December 31, 2025.
