Proposal:
A request to apply Initial Zoning ("translational zoning") to a 5.2 acre site proposed for annexation. The site is owned by the Gregory Living Trust and is located at the northeast corner of 73rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The site abuts the City of Peoria to the west and is bisected by a 10-foot-wide strip tract, annexed into the City of Peoria to the South. This action would bring the entirety of the project area into the City of Peoria and replace the current Maricopa County with Residential Unit Plan of Development overlay (R1-6 RUPD) zoning with the City of Peoria equivalent of Planned Area Development (PAD).
