|
| | | | | | | | SUBJECT:
| Budget Amendment, Municipal Court Fingerprinting with Livescan |
|
| | | | | | | | Purpose:
Discussion and possible action to approve a budget amendment in the amount of $19,714 for installation of Livescan desktop, laser printer, printer drawer, and 2-year maintenance support services in the Municipal Court for mandated fingerprinting for the criminal history record of defendants with the Arizona Department of Public Safety Livescan. |
| | | | | | | | Summary:
The Department of Public Safety Livescan desktop workstation and printer will be installed by Idemia, with State Contract ADSPO18-00008040 at the Municipal Court to generate a mandated fingerprint record of a defendant's criminal history records. |
| | | | | | | | Previous Actions/Background:
Effective 1/1/2023 IDEMIA no longer sells or supports the current ELSA LiveScan Software with the Municipal Court. The ELSA LiveScan has been replaced by the TouchPrint Enterprise v5(TPE v5) livescan. |
| | | | | | | | Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends that City Council approve a budget amendment not to exceed $19,714 from the General Fund Contingency account to the Municipal Court account for the purchase and installation of a desktop and printer for mandated fingerprinting with livescan for the criminal history record of defendants. |
| | | | | | | | Fiscal Analysis:
The $19,714 budget amendment will use one-time funds from General Fund Contingency to the Municipal Court to cover the purchase and installation of the Department of Public Safety Livescan desktop workstation, printer and 2-year maintenance.
