The Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee makes recommendations for board and commission membership based on term expirations, vacancies from resignations, or changes to member eligibility status.

On October 8, 2024 and November 12, 2024, the Council Boards and Commissions Subcommittee made the following appointment and reappointment recommendations:

This is a request for City Council to appoint and reappoint Board and Commission members as follows:

Appoint Jayme Williams as a regular member of the Arts and Culture Commission with a term to expire December 31, 2026,

Reappoint Brandi Molstad and Paul Palz as regular members to the Board of Adjustment with terms to expire December 31, 2026,

Reappoint David Demmer as a regular member to the Construction Board of Appeals with a term to expire December 31, 2026,

Reappoint Mike Heath as a regular member to the Design Review Board with a term to expire December 31, 2026, 

Reappoint Mike Heath and Tobechukwu Okeke and appoint Amanda Peters as regular members to the Historic Preservation Commission with terms to expire December 31, 2026, 

Reappoint Shawn Hutchinson, Joshua Pina, and Dan Zenko as regular members to the Municipal Development Authority with terms to expire December 31, 2027, 

Reappoint Christine Paz as a regular member to the Parks and Recreation Board with a term to expire December 31, 2026, 

Reappoint Layla Villasenor and Joysaphine Waitman as regular members to the Planning and Zoning Commission with terms to expire December 31, 2026, and 

Reappoint Richard Dobson and appoint Scott Duke as regular members to the Veterans Board with terms to expire June 30, 2025 and December 31, 2026, respectively.
