Discussion and possible action for City Council to authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Peoria and Peoria Unified School District and the 21st Century Grant Program at Ira Murphy Elementary School. |

This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) formalizes the collaborative partnership between the Peoria Unified School District (PUSD), the City of Peoria, and the 21st Century Grant Program to meet the growing demand for before and after school enrichment programs at Ira Murphy Elementary School. Under this agreement, PUSD and the 21st Century Grant Program commit to funding a one-year pilot program aimed at increasing student engagement, supporting academic success, and promoting student well-being. The City of Peoria will work closely with the school to deliver these enrichment services, ensuring that students have access to meaningful opportunities that nurture both their academic and personal development. On October 10, 2024, the PUSD Governing Board voted to approve this MOA. |

The Council has approved a supplemental budget of $25,000 for 21st Century programming in FY25. All services provided under this program are eligible for reimbursement, up to the approved limit of $25,000. |
