Discussion and possible action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center to continue our on-going fire service training to effectively provide emergency fire, medical and other services for mutual benefit of the public.

| | | | | | | | Summary:
In previous years, the City of Peoria has maintained this type of Intergovernmental Agreement, with this agreement being an updated version.
This agreement is to continue to improve the nature and coordination of emergency assistance to incidents that threaten loss of life or property within the geographic boundaries of their respective jurisdictions. It is further the determination of each of the parties that enter into this fire service training agreement that all cities remain committed to organized multi-city training in an effort to maintain our mutual skills and tactics. This agreement is an on-going commitment by the Peoria Fire-Medical Department to participate in yearly training evolutions.

To provide the highest levels of services in conjunction with the most effective use of local fire department resources working collaboratively through intergovernmental cooperation between the Cities and partnering agencies. With training as a priority, continuous training programs have been in place.
