Discussion and possible action to accept: (a) four grants totaling $34,824, from the Arizona State Library; and (b) approve a budget amendment for $34,824 from Contingency to the Library Services and Technology grant account.

The Peoria Public Library System continues to create innovative programs and services to the community, and for the eighth straight year has been awarded grants to support these programs through the Arizona State Library.

The Peoria Public Library requests acceptance of funding for $34,824. The funding provided is for the following four (4) grants.

Peoria Public Library System E-Card Service: Grant Award $21,824

Writers in Residence at Sunrise Mountain Library: Grant Award $5,000

English Express: ESL Classes at Main Library: Grant Award $4,000

America 250: Frontiers and Pioneers: Grant Award $4,000

The four (4) LSTA grants provide funding for the projects noted above through September 2026.
