| Abandonment of City Interest, Easement for Water Line, Southeast Corner of Cotton Crossing and Peoria Avenue |

| | | | | | | | Purpose:
Discussion and possible action to adopt RES. 2025-89 abandoning the City’s interest in a portion of a certain Water Line Easement within Lot 1 of the Peoria Center Station Final Plat located east of Cotton Crossing south of Peoria Avenue (Deed24-044). |
| | | | | | | | Summary:
During the final plat process, property owners dedicate easements for various uses within the platted parcels. As properties are developed, there are times that field conditions may alter the location of where utilities are installed or design efforts are made to reduce the size of certain easement areas. These circumstances are present in the current requests for abandonment:
- Peoria Center Station Lot 1 – a Waterline Easement was dedicated via the Final Plat within Lot 1. A request was made by the current property owner to abandon a portion of the water line easement; they have granted a replacement easement.

Staff recommends that City Council approve the adoption of the attached Resolution authorizing the abandonment of a portion of a water line easement within Peoria Center Station Lot 1. |

There is no fiscal impact to the City associated with releasing these easement areas.
