Discussion and possible action to recommend approval to the Arizona Department of Revenue for a Class B Bingo License for West and Southeast Realtors of the Valley, located at 9001 West Union Hills Drive Suite 8, Roger Nelson, Applicant, LL#25-011019.

West and Southeast Realtors of the Valley, is a member-driven not-for-profit trade association that fosters community and business growth through resources and education.  West and Southeast Realtors of the Valley will be hosting a one-time event that requires them to apply for the Class B Bingo License.  The application agent is Roger Nelson.

The Class B license may be issued to a qualified organization for the conduct of bingo games for which the gross receipts do not exceed $500,000 per year. 

The public hearing notice was posted and no comments were received during the posting period. The license application was reviewed according to State law and all Departments gave approvals.

There has never been a bingo license at 9001 W. Union Hills Dr Suite 8.

Pursuant to Arizona Law the City must recommend to the Arizona Department of Revenue for approval. The Standard for the recommendation is whether the best interest of the community will be served by the issuance of this license and whether the public convenience is served.
