Summary:

The City of Peoria Arts, Culture and Library Services Department has been awarded a $150,000 grant from the Tohono O’odham Nation’s 12 Percent Gaming Distribution Program. This funding will support technological upgrades at the Centennial Plaza Amphitheater, including new sound, lighting, and projection systems. These enhancements will expand the Amphitheater’s capacity to host community events, performances, and presentations - raising its profile as an inclusive gathering space and strengthening Peoria’s identity as a home for distinctive arts and cultural experiences.
