| Election of Vice Mayor |

Discussion and possible action to nominate and elect a Vice Mayor to serve during the absence of the Mayor. |

Pursuant to Article II, Section 8 of the Peoria City Charter, the City Council shall designate one of its members as Vice Mayor, who shall serve in such capacity at the pleasure of the Council. The Vice Mayor shall perform the duties of the Mayor during his/her absence or disability.
Nominations: The Mayor shall call for nominations for the position of Vice Mayor by a motion and vote. |

This is an action taken by City Council pursuant to City Charter. The elected Vice Mayor will serve in the manner prescribed in Article II, Section 8 of the Peoria City Charter. |
