Discussion and possible action to nominate and elect a Mayor Pro Tem to serve during the absence of both the Mayor and Vice Mayor. |

Pursuant to Peoria City Code, Chapter 2, Section 2-17, The Mayor Pro Tem shall perform the duties of the Mayor in the absence or disability of both the Mayor and Vice Mayor.
Nominations: The Mayor shall call for nominations for the position of Mayor Pro Tem by a motion and vote. |

This is an action taken by City Council pursuant to City Code. The elected Mayor Pro Tem will serve in the manner prescribed in Chapter 2, Section 2-17 of the Peoria City Code. |
